At Destiny Haven we seek 'to provide a safe haven for women in need enabling them to reach their full potential and true destiny'.

Destiny Haven is a charitable organisation and a ministry of Designed for Destiny.  Our purpose is to help those who are the most broken in our society. Set on a 42 acre property in the peaceful Hunter Valley, NSW, Destiny Haven is a facility offering a residential life-developing training program for women with any life controlling issue.

Destiny Haven is a place of safety, healing and restoration. Unlike many other residential programs, all our full time team live on-site and are available to help after hours. Our caring and experienced team are here to help our clients overcome the legacy of past traumas so they can move forward in freedom and renewal. Destiny Haven is a long term program - where emotional, spiritual, social, and practical needs are dealt with - enabling them to establish and fulfil their own unique destiny.

  • See women restored into wholeness;
  • Break the old destructive cycles of their past;
  • Heal the broken-hearted
  • To provide a home - a 'place of safety and belonging', where through unconditional love, acceptance and forgiveness - their lives will be transformed.
  • Introduce them to a God who is personal and longs for a relationship with them through His son Jesus Christ.

Our recovery programs are run in an encouraging and supportive environment aimed at helping women to overcome the legacy of their past - broken relationships, destructive emotions and behaviours such as low self esteem, addictions, eating disorders, self-harm, depression and anxiety, panic attacks and the long term effects of childhood trauma and abuse.

Once accepted into the program at Destiny Haven, participants must be prepared to participate in all aspects of the program. The program is designed to empower women who sincerely desire to change their lives. We provide practical information and support to women in a safe, family orientated residential environment to help them to achieve that change.

The minimum age of potential clients is 18 years. The program involves a staged recovery process, and length of stay will vary according to the needs of each woman. Average stay would probably be between six and twelve months or even longer for those with more complex issues. We require a commitment to stay a minimum of four months. Pregnant women are not precluded. However, we do not have facilities or staffing at this stage to cater for babies and children.
